Ezekiel 22

In Ezekiel 22, we see a sobering portrayal of societal decay and God's response to it. Jerusalem, once a holy city, became corrupted by violence, idolatry, and moral depravity. We're reminded that God sees everything, from the actions of leaders to the private sins of individuals. This serves as a wake-up call for us to examine our own lives and communities. The message challenges us to be the righteous few who 'stand in the gap' before God, interceding for our society and actively working to uphold godly standards. It's a call to spiritual vigilance and social responsibility, urging us to be salt and light in a world that desperately needs it.
