At United Body of CHRIST Church, our faith and belief is in the LORD and SAVIOR JESUS Who is CHRIST: We believe there is one GOD, Who is CREATOR of all things seen and unseen. We also believe that GOD the FATHER has a SON, Who is the only begotten of the FATHER, LORD of all, Whose name is above all, and His name is the LORD JESUS CHRIST, Whom GOD sent into the earth to become a Sacrificial Lamb for the sins of mankind. We believe that in HIS sacrifice all sins were transferred to the cross which GOD’s SON was nailed to; abolishing the grave and death of mankind through HIS death, burial, and resurrection, that we may now obtain eternal life. We believe there is only one way to GOD the FATHER, and that is thru HIS SON JESUS CHRIST.
JESUS saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man
cometh unto the FATHER, but by Me. John 14:6
We believe that the steps taken to obtain eternal life are that which the Bible declares:
1. According to Romans 10:9 a person must confess with their mouth the LORD JESUS CHRIST
and believe in their heart that GOD raised JESUS from the dead, and they shall be saved.
2. According to Acts 2:38 we believe that you are to repent and be baptized in the name of the LORD JESUS CHRIST in order to have your sins remitted and to obtain eternal life which is paid for by the SON and offered as a gift by GOD the FATHER. We believe this gift is also given with instruction administered by the HOLY GHOST.
Now unto GOD, our eternal FATHER & CREATOR, unto our LORD & SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST, and unto the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD, be dominion, power & might, in this world
and in the world to come, now and forever, amen!
